The likes and dislikes may vary based on the project you are in within each stream in PwC. I work in payments transformation in Advisory , here the work like balance is good and the team is supportive, for me.

Dislikes

We may work with teams in other regions such as US and UK. Sometimes it is difficult to bridge the work culture gap and may feel like a struggle to do so. Initial compensation discussions are a bit frustrating since the hr wont budge to your negotiations. Hence the salary wont be what is expected when moving companies.

Work policy: When the team gets together, could be once in a week or once in 2 weeks.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Flexible Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

Dislikes

No work life balance. They will make you to the job of three to four persons. If a team member leaves, they will not hire anyone. No process followed. Very unprofessional behaviour overall

They will allocate the project based on your background.. They will give whatever they need. During the promotions they will highlight as you did not work on role you have recruited

Work life balance in my team because of my client manager. If the manager is from India then don't expect this.

Dislikes

The main this is regional bias in the team, I suggest that south Indian people not to join in Kolkata especially if the team or project manager is Bengali. Even HR will won't help he/she do as per the managers say.
