No strict office timing ( you can just stay for an hour and do wfh) Food is ok. If you are an extrovert, there are lot kf outreach programs. Transparency till higher management.

Recently, After CEO change there are No promotion, No hikes and no good projects. They are loosing clients left and right, leading to less salary, heavy firing, cost cuts, less variable bay (even for 5 Rating, you'll get 2K hike) Mostly due to losing projects, there is mainly prod support or infra setup for US based companies. Some managers are heavily toxic, that they take personal vengeance with you.

No work life balance. I got project in another technology to the one I was hired for. There is lot of work pressure. It feels like a hanging sword. Any moment you can be fired .

Cognizant will not pay you well , Even if you are eligible for a better pay at the correct time they will release you from the project so that they don't have to promote you

Variable pay is not paid properly, income is taxed incorrectly, salary hike are postponed frequently, manager are not 1-1 relationship its a matrix system and home manager changes every 3 to 6 months, managers always deligate their own work to associates
