10 hour workdays? Glad I quit Genpact

I’m just relieved I got out in time...I was with Genpact till last month. Genpact wants its employees to start working 10 hours a day 5 days a week...that's 50 hours weekly. And this isn't for a startup or leadership role. It's for freshers. Entry level roles with 10 hour shifts? are you serious? In 2025? When we’re talking about 4 day workweeks and burnout awareness? I’m not saying people shouldn’t work hard....we all do. But let’s stop pretending this is normal or productive. Longer hours don’t mean better output. In most cases, it just means more stress, more health issues, and faster exits. If you don’t trust your team to perform in 8 hours, maybe it’s not the employees who need training. Or 2 extra hours me koi kuch vaise bhi nahi ukhaad raha.

Amber survey. Salary on time. Timely one on one session. Medical facility at office. EPF facility. Manager is supportive. Hybrid work.

Training is not good. Ramp up is not good. No support during guided production. No welcome kit. RTO for new hires is 5 days to increase RTO attendance of team. Harsh behaviour of AVP during medical problem. Office politics. Discrimination between employees. Very less salary. No encashment of leaves. No overtime. No OPD medical insurance coverage of employee. No medical insurance coverage of parents. No diwali bonus. Cab is chargeable for male employees.Discrimination with male employees Recently implemented 10 hours shift. No work life balance. Worst coffee. Now 2 days downtime of leaves but before that no downtime of leaves.

CAB Facilities. Cost cutting (no tissues, half lights and Ac in night shift, no cups for drinking water even for visitors etc) 10 hours shift without increasing your pay. Even after 3 years no promotion. Favouritism No One O One (Closing without even talking) No Learning Managers will push you to login on weekends Etc

...permise like clean washroom refreshment items like tea coffee at breakout area.. no cafeteria is available for lunch or dinner transport is very pathetic, cab charges are deducted from salary on monthly basis even not getting AC cabs in these heat waves season. Last but not the least they extended 1 hr shift and for compensation just incase 0.5% on yearly bonus which counted on your yearly performance basis. This is called so cheep management.

Not really because around 5 years I am waiting with Genpact and they are still paying me 23k as MT how shameful this is.
