Team mates are pretty much friendly here as all have one problem in common(No salary hike and no explanation for that). People echo with each other’s problem, so, relation with coworkers are not that bad. All come under the same umbrella.

Dislikes

No salary hike despite of good rating in appraisal. For an example, scoring a 4 out of 10 & scoring a 9.5 out of 10 doesn’t make any difference when the management says that your performance is excellent like exceed expectation but we are not sure why there is no increment. Manager says talk to the HR, HR says talk to the customer lead and with the higher management and then all empathises with you but no result. The last person left to discuss regarding this was the CEO. That’s a crime. You can even think of attempting that. Weekend work, specially work on National holidays like 15th August. When you question this they say India got freedom in 1947, what will you do now? Go and work. On your birthday they will say that you are old enough not to celebrate your birthday. Go and work. That’s all and many more. Now you decide.

Company supports hybrid culture. Promotes team building activities for employees. Events are frequently organised which can be refreshing but if your project requires you to be at desk all the time, it's of no use. You can pursue various trainings and certifications through company website.

Dislikes

...ise the work culture is very toxic. Sometimes you need to work on your weekends. Salary is way to less especially for freshers. Not much to learn in support role and promotion will take years even if you are doing great work.

...d want you to again join from office for 2 hrs of work for as long as they want. Salary not increased for people like 2-3 years just a lollipop only. No job security on the name of shrinkage they will put you on bench then play prime nv game and through you at any location without any confirmation. With no refund of travelling and residential cost. They say will do but it's just a joke. Forget about the work satisfaction you are not more than a slave

Working environment is peaceful and professional. Based on customer or client work load is balanced. We gain knowledge based on clients environmental devices. HCLTECH provide us skills development course as per our skill set. Any MNC company job security is important same for HCLTECH.

Dislikes

Salary, promotion and appraisal is based on clients and RM. Mostly for over achievers will get good results.
