Extra benefits like (insurance and term insurance etc are not up to standard.) Salary hike is very less.

There is no company level interaction. They will hire you, once you in no one will interact with you from cognizant side. Full time you have to work with client. No manager interaction , no one is there with you if something happens to you. There is concept of Home manager and business manager, both are there for no reason. They will not help in any case. If you have problem they will hear you once you ping them and no action.What ever you perform in client side even you are best or worst hike will happen on average. No impact of working hard or best performance, your hike will be very average. I prefer NOT TO JOIN THIS COMPANY. They will offer 2-3 lakh extra from market and due to those 2-3 lakh you have to suffer allot. NO JOB SECURITY any time they put you on BENCH and from bench you yourself have to search the project and if not you are fired. To join this company was my worst experience and decision. Please dont join for the sake of extra 2-3 lakh of ctc…

...ant to say DO NOT join this company. You will have to switch again in 1 year. They will give you 2-3 lakh extra and joining bonus also and joining bonus will have 1 year bond. So you will wait for 1 year to leave this company. I want to talk more about this but please stay away. They will not consider your tech stack whole assigning you a project. I was java angular react developer with microservice exp also. If client need you to work on linux or python developer you have to work because you are tagged to client and cognizant will not help you here.

...anagement to ask any thing. I was a labor hired by cognizant given to 3rd party. Only salary message i got from cognizant nothing else. Client suddenly ended contract and then cognizant lined up my few interviews i had to crack any of those sudden interviews without preparing, you have to clear. Its hard to suffer in this situation. Ever 6-8 month you have to change your project. what ever you perform in project and worked hard to client does not mean anything as contract ends and no one knows about your task or work done. I suggest not to join this company till you dont have other options. It will Lure you with 3-4 lakh extra , this is what my mistake was,

Allot of thing, Cognizant management don't know anything what is happening in client side. Bad luck to me was my manager from cognizant side was also new he dont knw any process or anything if i asked any help from him. Not recommended to join.

Pay structure is comparatively good with other IT service companies. Work culture is good Lot of courses and certificates are available with free of cost You can develop any skills Job security is good

Promotion cycle is bad Hikes are very less, just single digit recent years Management is not favourable to employees level most of the time. Internal politics and biased

Work life balance is nice here. In Cognizant every religions are celebrating with no discrimination.

In Cognizant promotions are very late. Upto the Salary they offer, is very low and appraisal are also not good. They mostly delay the appraisals.
