Job Description :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced RTL Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. As an RTL Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and verification of complex digital integrated circuits. You will leverage your deep understanding of RTL design principles and industry-standard tools to contribute to cutting-edge projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work independently, lead technical aspects, and contribute significantly to the success of our silicon development efforts.

Key Responsibilities :

- Participate in the micro-architectural definition and RTL implementation of digital blocks and subsystems.

- Develop high-quality, synthesizable RTL code in Verilog or SystemVerilog, adhering to coding standards and design guidelines.

- Perform thorough Lint checks and utilize Synopsis tools (e.g., Design Compiler, Fusion Compiler) for synthesis and timing analysis.

- Conduct Clock Domain Crossing (CDC) analysis and implement robust solutions to ensure design integrity.

- Take ownership of assigned design blocks, working independently to meet project milestones and quality targets.

- Implement power-aware design techniques utilizing UPF (Unified Power Format) and CLP (Clock-Level Power) methodologies to optimize power consumption.

- Collaborate effectively with verification, physical design, and other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and successful tape-out.

- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to debug and resolve design issues.

- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and advancements in RTL design methodologies and tools.

- Be a proactive and enthusiastic team player, willing to take direction from technical leads and contribute positively to the team environment.

Basic Job Deliverables :

- Proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality RTL designs with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in digital IC design.

- Ability to independently drive the design and implementation of complex RTL blocks.

- Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate technical concepts and project status to the team and stakeholders.

Desired Skills and Experience :

- In-depth knowledge of digital design principles, computer architecture, and VLSI design flow.

- Hands-on experience with industry-standard EDA tools for RTL design, simulation, synthesis, and timing analysis (e.g., Cadence Genus, Synopsys Design Compiler/Fusion Compiler, Mentor Graphics QuestaSim/ModelSim).

- Strong understanding of verification methodologies and collaboration with verification teams.

- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, TCL, or Perl for automation.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Experience in leading small technical teams or mentoring junior engineers is a plus
