Dislikes

Keeping the inflation rate aside people working in Tech Mahindra does not even get the hikes, meeting inflation rate is something far from imagination. Never expect work life balance if you are willing to join in TechM.

The work culture and work life balance is good. Campus is beautiful and well facilitated.

Dislikes

No growth especially if you join via MASS HIRING as a fresher. After joining as fresher you might get trained for 6-8 months and then be kept on bench for another 4-5 months. So its a good HOLIDAY PACKAGE of 10 months. And the first project you get in any MNC is generally a support role (some might drop to the extent of non-tech support roles like Monitoring roles). And in support role your schedule will be rotational shifts as they need support 24/7. Working mode is mostly hyrbid - typically 12 days per month work from office and 5 hours each of those days need to be from office. Total 9 hours a day. So if you have to choose between a startup or mid sized company over a MNC, as a fresher never choose MNC....Read More

No likes as of now at client location. The company is interested only in billing. The client treats employees as sl*v*s.

1. Worst leave policy. No sick leaves, no casual leaves. Instead of sick leaves they have hospitalization leaves which is applicable only if you hospitalized and that too after utilizing all your earned leaves. 2. No work-life balance at client location. Management considers employees as machine. Only the favourites of management get off on weekend if you are in rotational shift. 3. They provide only yearly salary breakup in your offer letter. No monthly salary breakup is provided. The real game is hidden in variable pay. What they promise, they never give you in your net take home salary. 4. Promotion, 5. Job Security, 6. Skill Development all depends on who is management's favourite. Same as in the most of the organizations. 7. There is nothing I like about working with Tech Mahindra.

They have project called PGS client and you need to go daily office to PGS office and they treat you like contractor you can not even go to dinner with your friends you have to go to dinner with only team members and team Managers. If they ask you for anything like you have done with your breakfast still you need to eat you don't have any choice of selecting food Even your washroom break are monitored and they don't even provide complete training. They provide complete training to PGS employees in front of your eyes but they don't provide you training but you have to meet target and quality. If you have done any error they'll insult you in front of all team members. When I joined Tech Mahindra they not mentioned your role is contacter but when you enter office even PGS employees treat you like contractor they advise by Managers to treat Tech Mahindra employees as contacter<mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;">. There is no work life balance there is no job security they will fire you anytime if you perform really well but not good friend with Manager</mark>. You have to take leave forcefully when Manager ask to take leave because no work in queue But the sensation is they keep asking to you to take leave until your leave finish and you require to take leave you don't have leave balance....Read More
