Wipro is becoming a corrupted place to work. Only those who keeping nodding head for the management grows here. Politics is all around in Wipro BPS processes everywhere. They make you Acting Team Lead and give you work of both SME & TL and will promise you to promote as TL but after utilizing your capabilities they will forget your hard work and make their favorites as TL.

Politics, HR not helpful enough, Worst work life balance, Worst pay scale as per the work they'll take out from you. Zero job satisfaction

The only thing I like about working at Wipro wad that they give chances to Freshers, and workload is not that too much, if work is done accordingly to the time.

Dislikes

Less salary offered, slow promotions, 2-3% appraisal, no skill development and team activity.

Everyone is cooperative, and there is no work pressure. The work environment is friendly, supportive, and encourages a healthy work-life balance.but at the EOD we need to complete our target.

...rom position L0 to L1, they often develop an attitude,rude behaviour towards L0. Even though the salary is lower. Targets have also been increased."

Likes

Wipro was known for its supportive work culture and employee-first approach. There was no practice of abrupt terminations unless there was a serious breach of conduct. Even for employees on the bench, the company allowed time to find a new project and ensured a sense of job security. This created an environment where employees could grow without the constant fear of sudden exits.

Dislikes

However, in recent quarters, I observed a shift in the bench policy that appeared to prioritize cost-cutting over employee support. The policy was subtly modified and increasingly used to pressure employees into resigning after their bench period ended. For instance, employees with around two years of experience were informed by senior management that there were no suitable projects for their level and were not given further support. Once the bench period expired, many were essentially compelled to resign under the guise of this policy.

After onboarding , BGV and client verification is time consuming, Bad work life balance , Promotion and raise in salary will reflect in delay 3 months from the time you should get it .
