Need Insights – Choosing Between Companies
Hi all, Currently have offers from Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, LTIMindTree, Zen&Art, CitiusTech, Nagarro & Persistent. Before making a decision, I need some clarity: 1. Do you get admin access on laptop or need IT for every install? 2. Are office hours flexible or fixed 9 AM login? 3. Is 9 hrs of active laptop time mandatory? 4. What's the leave policy — casual or strict approval? 5. Do projects use the latest technologies or older versions? Thanks in advance!

Dislikes

1.1. Salary Growth Can Be Slow: Increments and appraisals are sometimes not very competitive, especially when compared to market standards for similar roles. 2. Bureaucratic Processes: Due to its large size, decision-making can be slow. Sometimes too many layers of approvals are needed. 3. Project Allocation Challenges: Bench time can vary based on location and skillset. Sometimes, matching your desired project with your skillset may take time.

-Flexible timings (depends on project which you get) -Work Culture is very good -Work-Life balance for women is great -Seniors help a lot in technical aspects -You get good opportunities to upskill on many technologies and a good chance to get certified as you can claim coupons for specific certifications -Better leave policy (22 Privileged, 2 Optional, 8-10 Festival(Location-based) Leaves) -Located in almost all the main metro-cities, making it flexible to relocate as per your convenience -Also, you can just permission and visit nearby Campus instead of base locations which is way convenient for people -Emergency leaves or late log-ins are considered with genuine reasons -All-in-all good vibes to start your career with this organization

-Very very low payment -No hike at all - I have worked here for almost 3+ years now but till now I have just got 15% hike even though I worked late night for urgent project deadlines -No appreciation even though you work hard unless you are professionally and personally close to your N+1 who provides the ratings which is also not fair at all. -Even if you work day & night, give your best even if leading to health issues, they will consider the health conditions but wont rate accordingly or give hike -Not sure about all HRs but my experience was very bad with my HR - she was pathetic, no understanding, no genuine considerations, you have fight for your rights -You can join company to have good profile on job portals but dont stay here for long - max 2 years

...y to protect my leg, i have to put my papers down without any job offer in hand. But they not stop there, during my FNF settlement they didn't pay me the Night shift allowance for the days I worked for them. When I raised this to my HR, she abused me and said " company itne itne se kaam k liye nhi baithi h". I asked her if some employee's payroll is impacted and that does not matter to the company or what else matters. To which she disconnected the call.

...never ends. Even if we do Certification there's no guarantee that we get a hike. Variable pay is not a guarantee too. Hike cycle is Jan -dec but hike n variable pay will be provided only at the end of financial year end. For the folks eligible for Variable pay that is from C1 onwards there will be a partial payout in the jan n final pay out at the end of financial year end. The eligibility for variable pay is we are not supposed to be serving notice period. Meaning even if we drop paper on March 31st then we are subjected to return our variable pay. If we have taken parental insurance then they ask to pay for the entire financial year as part of full & final settlement from the employee Only for 30 leaves will be paid as full & final settlement Managers are really bad they just care about your deliverables & nothing else. My project manager/program manager when asked about hike - shared me a customer care number to check what's the reason for not releasing my Hike ltter. When reached on that number they asked to connect with my manager for the reasonn😆 No good onshore opportunities No good flexibility in location inspite of their presence in multiple locations They just have values, policies jst for the sake of having it. In reality nothing is useful. Work culture in certain projects is pathetic - no weekends, no public holidays nothing
