Micromanagement is little less and other structure such as pay , parking and cab is managed well .

Flaw side is no one listens the voice or issues of their employee . Everything is being governed by top management and everything is set within themselves .

... in a reputed branded company. The work culture is different on basis of region. The compensation is good for a fresher. Work life balance also differs from project to project. Cab facility is good. Infrastructure is good.

Dislikes

There is lot of politics. No one will help you or guide you. You have to make ur own way. No career development. Supervisors and managers do partiality. The will monitor you constantly on your in and out time and will try to overload you with work. No time for skill development. HRs are worst here. They will only support managers and manipulate the things.

The night shift allowance, 6th day allowance is better than some other organizations.

Dislikes

Many things, toxic office politics, unpaid overtime, over-the-top cost-cutting practices, slow growth, biased ratings, code of conduct malpractice, biased regionalism, fraudulent HR practices etc.

Job security depends on situations. Few of my friends were in bench for more than 6 months, happily receiving salary without joining any project. While one of my friend was dismissed from cognizant because of not reporting to office during bench time. It all depends on the lead., my last project lead is a good man but a bad lead, he is new to cognizant as well. He doesn't even hear your suggestions and made me lose 3 months of night shift allowances worth 18,000

For a fresher as well an experienced person cognizant is offering competitive salary (I am talking about the Kolkata region). Another good thing is they provide free udemy access so we can upskill ourselves.

Dislikes

The biggest disadvantage specially the project in which I am working is the work pressure and the 10 hour shift is also very challenging as I was doing 9.5 hours shift in my previous company. The project in which I am working is fully work from Office even though cognizant sent a mail that it will be hybrid.
