1. Slow career growth as it is a big company, may old timers are there at the same designation for years 2. Minimum to no salary hike (you can't bit the inflation) 3. Sometime you will need to deal with workplace politics

I am working with IBM for more than 8 years now mostly I have worked in a contractor role. But I got a regular IBM role in 2022 and the transition is very smooth my manager is very cooperative will all the requirements that I have. So from what I have understood it is more like a managerial-centric approach and many managers are there working for more than 20 to 25 years at IBM. For me, you have multiple opportunities within IBM to grow and showcase your ability. A good learning setup and there are many initiatives within IBM that engage people....Read More

Need to be more clear on the project while assigning and need to be more agile managers who think for the team beforehand not at the end of the assignment. And also need to give practical training for the skill gap issues which employees face while off-boarding and onboarding from projects.
