Scrape for work. The teams are overstaffed, so politics is natural. Evenhough the salary is average, still looking at the deliverables it feels being overpaid. With a lot of hierarchy and bureaucracy, logic takes a backseat. Documentations are decent but some people are so incompetent that they will waste time by scheduling multiple calls to understand 2+2=4. Their mouths are too small to even spoon feed the complex problems. Still they get by. No one has end goal in mind so many tech discussions wander off point. Objective discussions and deep dives are rare. People are always busy for some reason. Higher management is not employee friendly. There are empty talks by leaders about wlb here, I don't think anyone really means it or they are too much disconnected from the working folks. Scheduled 1:1s are a chore and doesn't address actual issues. I suggest reach out to your work horses informally and most importantly observe their contributions. Insurance benefit is pretty dismal. Join it if you - are already content with your personal growth - are not irritated with slow paced environment. - like bureaucracy and hierarchy - are good with faking it - enjoy office politics...Read More

Overall the company is good, but there is no chance for you to grow. The managers are incompetent and they favour their friends who are also not competent. They will not let you work properly, work distribution is absurd, no proper training, no KT sessions and the ones who get promoted are either done after 3, 4 years of actual workbecause is 3z 4 years or the ones who are manager close. In my team specially the job designation and the work does not at all match, for example on of my team members recently got promoted to Sr. Data Engineer Analyst but for the past 5 to 7 years I have seen him work only on testing and QA stories that too on a manual way. He literally has a document to do all that steps even when and where to click the button. Its just because of his designation he js getting paid well which was made possible because he is a close friend of my manager who helped him get the job earlier. My manager as of today doesn't even know anything about Data Engineering and he is at Sr Data Engineering Manager positions. Such incompetency....Read More

I dislike the rating of work ,they give only based variables pay is eligible or not . They maximum give less rating make employees dissatisfied. If for low rating also they need improvement. If we show improve also ,they are not satisfied. Due to this my rating gave from 2 times low without hike salary.

Given that it's skewed towards middle aged crowd, it kind of is like a paralytic yet comfortable atmosphere. Very few people at that age have that drive, not celebrating it, but they have more things to think about and hence not as ambitious as the young crowd. Many people have transitioned from non tech to tech roles, where their business knowledge does add value but the learning curve gets a little bit off because of the time they'll take to catch up and the influx of already aware, young technical people. Like everywhere, some work is just for the sake of doing work. No doubt there are a lot of internal businesses for which people build, but it has to make sense and get listed on the chart too.
