Job security is there during COVID-19 Lockdown even there is no paycut in the salary. They managed well during this pandemic if we see the current no. of employees working in Capgemini. One thing where they can do better in this pandemic is providing laptop to the employees who are working in the city which is not their home town also in some projects I have heard that there manager helped some junior employee by providing 7-10k from the company's funds and this help is given to those employees who are working in the city which is not the employee home town. But this help is not given to all employees as it was not officially announced company policy where I got suffered in the initial days of the lockdown.

Dislikes

The one thing which is disasters in Capgemini is when you join the company as a fresher then you will never get a project with respect to the domain in which you were trained. I'll tell you my example, I was trained as a Java Full stack developer and after my training I have been allocated to the project where I need to do manual testing and HR put so much pressure saying that you cannot reject the project as you have signed the bond. Seriously at that point of time it looks like u.were just a name in the excel sheet. I have raised this issue in the company's HR meeting also but I know these giant never care the feedback which needs a change.

Found better work life balance compared to other service based organisation. If you are lateral entry they won't hold back from giving satisfying salary.

Dislikes

Promotion process is getting complicated and slow, highly dependent on learning hours and internal certification along with your project performance. Many times it is difficult to maintain project and organizational demand at the same time. For last couple of years hikes are very less. So, for financial growth promotion is very important and unfortunately that process is slow.

They didn’t discuss the rating directly; it was only mentioned on the portal which is unexpected. In case employee doing anything wrong they will come to you and will ask multiple questions.

Rest of all the time the people around you just like how foreigner get scammed by the road side vendor's. All the things like internal survey every thing will never work as the person in the ladder is not clean ! Although i am not know everyone but what i see i have seen i just talking about that! Might be others are good.. but i got disappointed so many time i don't want to believe any one ...

... employees are from patni computers and they really don't know MNC work culture. Very unprofessional patni computers employees, they ask for salary of new joiners and starts harrassing them as they all are earning low.
