They hire people from north India and won't give them transfer even though there are offices in north India. Also, linguistic issues prevail in south, people can't even speak in English, even though they are technically fine they can't converse with client and lag behind.

No dress code you can come as you want

My manager and team are always encouraging, making it easy to collabourate, learn and grow. The exposure to diverse projects and technologies has beed invaluable in shaping my automaiton testing skills

one of the biggest challenges has been the salary hikes and promotions cycle, especially for freshers. the increments are quite low, and carrer progression feels slow due to a lack of transparency in the promotion process. Despite receiving strong performance ratings from manager(2 which is very good), HR often downgrade it to 3(average) citing arbitary reasons such as incomplete training modules or remote work policies. The disconnect bw actual performace adn final appraisal desisions can be demotivating, as it directly both growth opportunities and financial rewards....Read More

It offers good work life balance but it depends on the project. If you are into support, you will have lot of time to upskill and switch.

Management sucks. But it depends on the project. I had 3 years of good management where promotions and appreciation were on par but when a new manager joined, the project turned upside down, no hike, no promotions, no appreciations, they dont value us and puppet of higher management.

Capgemini has a good work life balance. Offers many financial offers like leasing of cars and many more options. Capgemini offers more on-site opportunities for the employees. The Hybrid policy is more flexible than focusing on the number of hours in the office. Have plenty number of offices in major locations in India so one could relocate easily within country.

Dislikes

The pay and compensation is way lower than any competitor in the Service based sector. After being for 3+ years just 15% is hiked till now on total compensation on what I have joined the organisation.
