There is ample opportunity to develop your skillset. Good companies are clients for TCS so you get good exposure in terms of understanding how top companies work. Learning is limitless but impact may be limited as you are bound by both TCS expectations and client company expectations. It is a good place to start your career or even grow your career. The company cares about employees.

Dislikes

Monetary compensation is low and the effort to money ratio is quite skewed. Appreciation is available in terms of certificates and awards, which may be enough for some but not for all. But I personally feel salaries are below industry benchmark.

The company lacks atleast a decade behind all others players in the market, in terms of technology and policies. Work-life balance is extremely poor, and employees are treated like 'resources' who ought to accept anything and everything that is being offered to them, without questioning, like a flock of sheep who follow a directionless path.

Dislikes

Politics, orthodox functioning, lack of technological proficiency, lack of flexibility, attitude of senior management, appraisals and salary hikes are all disadvantages.
