Onsite opportunity, work life balance, learning opportunities, insurance benifits, casual wear, great consulting experience.

Culture changed after new management. Been in cognizant from 2009 and since the new management took over, no job security, no hikes, no growth. 10 hrs mandatory working hour per day. Ratings change from 4 to 5 slabs to make sure 50% of the company gets less than 75% of the variable pay. Attrition is all time high. CEO openly says inQ meet that he doesn't want old timers. No more respect for loyalty. Onsite opportunity also trimmed as top management is looking for local hires in onsite than sending people from India....Read More

Work life balance is good. Teammates are pretty supportive. Good job security, although in recent times, situation has worsened.

Dislikes

Appraisal cycle is too late. Increments are low. Promotions are poorly managed. It's become like a government organization. Travel is cut down massively. Learning opportunities are low. Little scope for innovation.

Work is boring. It's exciting at times but since the pace is so slow, it becomes boring. The workload is low, so it helps take care of personal commitments. Poor HR policies like fixed time in office, non-negotiable notice period are discouraging.
