The most happiest thing about working at TCS is work life balance which in today's world is very important for mental stability and happiness which is the ultimate goal for every individual in life.

Salary hikes and promotions are very delayed. Also the salary slab is average this must be increased

I applied for p2p Team lead position. Biplab Bhattacharjee called me all of a sudden and started asking me interview questions and was behaving unprofessionally over the call.I was busy in some work because of which I was not able to answer him properly later he said"you are working for so many years you don't know this thing" , obviously this thing made me angry and we had a argument that time later Biplab decided to set up formal teams call but obviously he didn't conduct because his ego got hurt. In any formal interview process anyone will call you and ask for free time and block your calendar for meeting and will send you invite but seems like Biplab is not aware of this thing or he is following the culture of Lala company at TCS. This short incidence was enough for me to understand how Toxic and pathetic there work culture would be later where top management must be harassing or misbehaving with their employees at workplace. If anyone get call from TCS thane P2P Team lead position then please don't entertain....Read More

Only thing good in TCS is its health insurance policy.

Dislikes

Nothing is good about TCS other than its health insurance policy. Most bad thing is the yearly salary increment but it doesn't impact the people sitting at the top of the company. Bcz the yearly revenues, profits and the salary increment doesn't really affects them. It only affects the workforce, who are actually helping the company to earn this much revenue every quarter. Promotion cycle depends on how good rapport you have with your manager. Overall, one will have no work satisfaction if you are not rewarded enough or paid enough. It's a eco friendly campus, I was working in Pune hinjwadi. If we have time we can utilise the ground or invest our time in playing games or gym but completely depends on work and our project. It's good for working mothers but if your manager doesn't support you there will not be any work life balance. Other than job security/campus I didn't see anything great about TCS

Dislikes

There is a very minimal hike and no promotion nor growth. TCS is no more employee friendly. We have to go office all 5 days which is hell these days.... there is no support and policies are name sake but what ever project decide employees should follow.
