Worked for Wipro BPS Health Life Sciences (Voice process) and it was an amazing experience to have worked with a prestigious client. As an entrant into the Pharmacovigilance industry, Wipro gives Pharma grads a good opportunity to acquire basic understanding needed for future endeavours. Its a policy driven organization which gives a sense of security to its employees (in most cases). Has a great working environment with a 24/7 round the clock work shifts, optional cab facility for odd hour shifts (8 pm to 8 am). Cafetaria area is more than sufficient here and provides a number of options to try different food items with good hygiene. Cleanliness is taken care of quite regulary (from water coolers, to coffee machines/utensils and washrooms). It has a good overall vibe. I'd say that if you arent shying away from working to your potential, you will most likely enjoy working here....Read More

What I disliked the most about Wipro was their payscale. The CTC is pretty less for the work load and as per PV industry norms. Also, the non-voice employees who work for the same client as voice guys, get paid more (both in terms of CTC and overall incentives). There are literally very little or no incentives for voice people even though their work demands more skills (communication and basic PV process) and more stringent shifts with no calender holidays. In my opinion, both voice and non voice should get enough incentive making opportunities and better CTCs. Initial process training is insufficient poorly designed. Training lacks proper professionals who can guve confidence to the newly on board members. At times, you are left on your own skills and temperament to adjust with the process and people. Career-wise, growth options are limited if you want to move higher up the ranks. The positions are already very much restricted and on top of it you also need to be in the good books of influencers/managers. Most Pharma process employees in Wipro BPS HLS exit the organization due to less on paper CTC, scarcity of higher positions and victimisation of favouritism. Work load to pay structure ratio is disproportionate amongst individuals and voice/nonvoice process. Over the time, you may feel worn out with negativity and undue monopoly of certain tenured people. I enjoyed my work unlike many since I was not expecting a lot out of the organization and I wasn't too desperate to switch to non voice. I excelled with the confidence in my skills given to me by a few colleagues within a short span of time.

Everything is perfect at Wipro as I already explained in above question, but expecting good salary and hike for some processes as per the work and efforts we put.

Work Details

My work is slightly challenging as I have to look after the entire case processing and rechecking of case to ensure there are no errors occurred. Pitching for my company as a Drug safety officer gets tiring and task is slightly repetitive.
