In wipro people are encouraged to upskill and canteen is of very high standard with reasonable price.

Dislikes

Almost no salary hike. Company's so called 5 values generally not applicable/followed by senior/management/HR persons. Office politics and biasness is very much present. Extra hour and day working is normal here. For that you will not get any benefit apart from comp off.

Personally I got good team everytime, so no politics. Streching working hours are there but not unnecessarily. If we have alot of tasks and closure is near then only.

Dislikes

Unnecessary course which are of no use. It should be related to work or skills growth. Hikes are of less percentage. Rotation for work and skill are there in policy but i guess it's very rare to get it, atleast I didn't get any such chance.

Upskill tie ups are good.

Dislikes

HRs won't cares about you are alive or dead. No help arrives on your need. No one responds if you raise a helpline ticket and wait for eternity. Even if you got good appreciation and award recommendations from client your promotion is based on certifications you pursue which is a reason to provoke your promotion. Salary hike is a joke.

About annual ratings from the managers who dont even know how much rating should give to whom based on the performance. I dont think so that 8 years experience employee will never get 2 rating, that too only based on 2 months of the particular project.

Job security is one of the alarming situation in Wipro. The irregularities in policy designing and changing the policies. One of the worst situation is processed the Shift allowance and changed the policy later that month and cut off from the salary on the next two months salary (300/ Any shift and 400/night shift) to (250/Any shiftand 400/night shift).
