I like the IT environment since I am from Mechanical Engineering background.

Dislikes

Hidden inter-politics that influenced by hometown, ex-company members, caste, favouritism for Managers, Business Department Unit heads, etc. No regulated salary packages. example: new Joinee (either IT or Non-IT) receives more than 5-7LPA, but experienced person (Non-IT) receives less than 7 LPA even the employee was loyal to the team & organisation.

They ask you to work in client location and close the contract in short notice once everything is set. Never allow to be a FT employee to their clients Deduce the variable pay and put huge amount in variable pay, something around 16 to 17 percentage.

Personnaly HCL is a turning point for my career since its my first corporate MNC where i learned so many things on corporate culture, and gained very good technical knowledge other than my core field in which i worked earlier. Campus atmosphere is very nice.. in my opinion this is a place where we can devolop our skills and knowledge as per indivigual potential.

Appraisal letter realease duration is what i felt need to be improved along with the increments for the existing employees
