There is no work life balance. Extending after log out timings is a regular thing and you get pulled if you don't extend. No compenstation for extending after work hours. Hate is another big issue here at Bangalore office . If you are a hindi, telugu, tamil native speaker, then your boss who might be a local guy hates you. It reflects in your work, promotion, appraisal, meetings. There are many at Bangalore offfice who openly disregard company policy and hate diversity. Worst culture I've witnessed. There's so much biasness in the perticular process I've worked with that it's making me so hard to survive in this process. To survive in this process, you either have to be a Tamil origin guy or someone from Andhra Pradesh. All the top leaders are Tamils and until and unless you're Tamil origin.. you'll not get any preference. My manager is a Telegu guy and he took over a client that I've been working on for more than 4 years. Now he's building a team with only telegu people and trying to dispose me from a long time and failing to do so. Every morning I wake up and feel anxious about simply logging in and thinking about doing simplest of task. One simple advice I'd like to give after almost 5 years in Genpact. Think 100 times before joining a team lead by a person called Sasi Kumar Jaipal....Read More

With the recent 10 hours workday being implemented, they have shown absolute disrespect. The problem is they look at employees as a resource, not people. They are just exploiters, who take advantage of employees' vulnerabilities- ought to be ashamed of themselves. This is a company which puts profits over people, don't ever consider this no matter how desperate you are. It's a trap.

Where to start - No promotion Pathetic Salary Band 3 and above rules the company and get all the benefits. Penalized the lower level and mid management employees 10hrs working shift with one hour break got introduced which will now leads to mass attrition.
